More endangered animals...

These are more of the animals that are going to be caught up in my very own oil spill, will be putting up the cutout 3D environment I have done soon.
:)
Current project.. birds, endangered birds and an oil spill.

I have been exploring an authorial project, which started with an article in the new scientist about endangered species in South America.
This focused particularly on species threatened by human intervention.
I developed the project into the animals affected in the oil spill disaster that happened in the Gulf of Mexico. I have been conveying decay, but wanted the images to be eery and beautiful..

A recipe for.. knitting a penguin jumper

It's being published in a zine, "A recipe for.." that we produced to raise money for our end of year show. So it should hopefully be on sale soon. Everyone from my course did a different recipe, unconventional ones to make for interesting illustrations!

Amelia's Compendium of Fashion Illustration

Hello, it's been a while - I need to update a lot, I've been so busy with projects at the moment!
Just thought I'd share that I'm one of the lucky illustrators that won the open brief competition for Amelia's Magazine. I'm going to be published in Amelia's latest book which is coming out in December, you can pre-order it here http://tinyurl.com/39tm69f
I'm very excited about seeing my work in print, I absolutely loved the last book, Amelia's Anthology of Illustration, which funnily enough I received as a Christmas present last year, so it feels great to actually be in the next installment.
The compendium features the work of 30 illustrators and showcases the best ethical designers around, not to mention beautiful imagery, can't wait for my copy!

Amelia's Magazine - Philippa Holland & Phoebe Coleman

These are illustrations of Philippa Holland and Phoebe Coleman's jewellery for London Fashion Week. They accompany the latest article of Amelia's Magazine.
I love how delicate they are, it gave me a lot of breadth to create something detailed and pretty. I'm loving the insect jewellery, wouldn't mind some of that myself! Couldn't bring myself to draw the spiders though..
